Beach Weddings

From personal experience, I can honestly say a wedding in Mauritius is a match made in paradise. Beach weddings are civil ceremonies, conducted by a registrar from the Civil Status Office and will be conducted in English. Your wedding certificate will be valid under British law and therefore you do not need to register your marriage on your return. You should arrange to be in Mauritius at least seven days before the wedding, as you will need to visit the Civil Offices in Port Louis to sign forms etc. Documents you'll need are: - Passports - Birth Certificates - Decree Absolute (if divorced) - Deed Poll (if name changed) - Death Certificate and previous marriage certificate if widowed Venue Reccomended We personally reccommend Villas Caroline for the wedding ceremony.
